About
The why, where and how...of The Dolce Den
The story starts and comes alive during Summer. As a child, summer meant packing the car with my family, five of us - in the no smartphone/no air-conditioning era - driving all the way to Italy. It meant staying with my grandmother, spending endless days at the beach and sharing simple but meaningful moments with family. Years later, thanks to my family, an opportunity arose to create something of my own in this beloved place. That’s when I found this little house in Dolceacqua. It was old and rustic, filled with the smell of worn wood and vintage pans that reminded me of my grandmother’s home. Step by step, I transformed it into a colorful, cozy home while keeping its authentic charm alive. That’s how The Dolce Den was born:
“Dolce” for the sweetness and comfort of Dolceacqua, and “Den” for the relaxed space where everything slows down: casual, cozy, and truly a home. A place where you don't need to do anything!
And in case you didn't find out. The house is defined by a colorful happy and warm yellow. I mean...what color makes you more feel at home than yellow?! (this is a retorical question - there is no other better answer!)
The Dolce Den provides a gateway to explore the middle age castle, picturesque villages and the serene beaches of the Italian Riviera. Immerse yourself in the authentic Italian way of living from this characteristic holiday home.
The house is recommended for solotravelers, friends-trips or couple's getaway: up to 2 people.
